Reputation is a brand it’s identification it’s representation

It’s a logo a calling card announcing integrity and character

Whether it’s good or bad is all wide open for discussion

It is extremely important the status of one’s reputation

Reputation is invaluable more precious than diamond

Do not diminish extinguish tarnish or blemish its radiance

It’s one’s obligation to safeguard this prized possession

At all times one’s reputation needs one’s undivided attention

Reputation precedes one regardless of one’s destination

Some reputation belongs on billboard for public applause

Some belong in the waste basket where trash belongs

Some continue rising some has sunken to rock bottom

Reputation is paramount its monumental it is fundamental

A stellar reputation is exceptional it deserves a standing ovation

Reputation is renowned it is a soaring beacon of excellence

One’s stature stands on the foundation of one’s reputation

Reputation it can be an albatross or it can be a crown

With the correct reputation one becomes sovereign

Your reputation is it worth its weight in gold

Then again is it worthless as coal

If anyone steals your purse it’s only cash

Let no one steal your reputation for it is priceless.
